Savills Guardian Education Fund Scheme 2021

The Savills Guardian Education Fund Scheme 2021 Award Ceremony was successfully held on 15 October, where Scholarship awardees were presented with award certificates and cheques in recognition of their excellent academic and interview performance. The students also sat down for a conversation with Savills Services Group CEO Dr. Johnnie Chan and Group Managing Director Ms. Angela Chiu, as well as Savills Guardian Group Managing Director Mr. Alex Chan.

Established in 2000, the Scheme is designated for students residing at properties managed by Savills Guardian Group, as well as children of the Group’s employees. It aims to recognise students with outstanding achievements and aspirations, and provide support for students with financial needs.

Considering the overwhelming response from applicants this year, the Group decided to contribute extra funding and handed out a total of 116 scholarships, grants and awards, including six Scholarships, 39 Grants and 71 Academic Progress Awards among which 21 were awarded to children of the Group’s employees.

Jacky Ching, first runner-up winner of this year’s Scholarship who is now pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, said in his sharing, "This Scholarship is an affirmation of my past efforts and has given me a lot of strength... I would like to thank the Savills Guardian Education Fund Scheme again for giving back to society by providing students with scholarships and grants over the years, encouraging us to dedicate ourselves to the pursuit of truth and knowledge."
